Santa flies into Schaumburg Regional Airport Dec. 2

Santa’s reindeer are sleeping in this year!

Schaumburg Park District will hold Santa’s Flight to Schaumburg, sponsored by Northwest Flyers, Inc., from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Dec. 2 at Schaumburg Regional Airport, 905 W. Irving Park Road.

Participants will wait for Santa’s arrival by helicopter in the airport's hangar and enjoy a buffet breakfast provided by Pilot Pete's. As Santa approaches, the hangar doors will open. Participants will have the opportunity to talk with Santa. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Pre-registration will end Nov. 30 or until full. Cost for children ages 3 to 12 is $10. Cost for participants age 13 and older is $20. Children age 2 and younger are free if sitting on an adult's lap. All attending family members must register.

Doors for the event will open at 9:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly.
