About this Article

Opened in June of this year, Pie Boss brings Tyrel Naidoo's favorite food from this native Durban, South Africa to Aurora. The former British colony is awash in commercial meat pie fast-food stands, but Naidoo wanted to make his family-run shop a bit more relaxed, clean and "homestyle." He also decided to keep the menu simple as not to overwhelm customers.
