House of Hope Resale Holiday Premiere

House of Hope Resale in downtown Barrington will open the doors Wednesday, Nov. 7 to a completely transformed space.

“Not only is it the kick- off of our annual Holiday Premiere, but we are also premiering our newly-expanded store,” remarked Caryn Habley, store manager.

The annual Holiday Premiere is a much-anticipated event with all proceeds benefiting local families in crisis through St. Anne's Project Hope. After the store closes on Saturday, Nov. 3, volunteer ‘elves' start decking the halls with all-new holiday arrivals including new and vintage furniture, pre-lit trees and more.

“We will literally work around the clock until we open our doors Wednesday morning, Nov. 7,” noted Peggy Sobolewski, Project Hope chairperson. “It is a crazy time, but so much fun because we all know how much the proceeds will help local families during the holidays. It's what the season is all about.”

On top of the daunting task of preparing for the holiday premiere, the volunteer team has been racing to complete renovations on their new space within Market Center. “We've increased our square footage and expanded popular departments, added more checkouts, improved lighting, added more parking with a second store entrance and introduced convenient drive-up donation service at the rear of our store,” remarked Sobolewski. “We can't wait to show off our fresh new store, completely decked out for the holidays. We really think our customers will enjoy it and the additional proceeds will allow us to help even more families in crisis.”

The Holiday Premiere runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 thru Saturday, Nov. 10 at House of Hope Resale, 200 N. Hough Street, downtown Barrington.

Refreshments, door prizes and new merchandise arrivals daily. Donations are always appreciated and are tax-deductible. All proceeds support St. Anne's Project Hope. For more information, please call 847-756-4673.
