It's only the first week in November, but the Hoffman Estates Public Works Department is ready for winter weather. More than 50 workers attended a snow and ice control training session Thursday. Maintenance worker Nick Lackowski called the job very dynamic. "There's no snowstorm that's ever the same," he said.
