Christmas bazaar, tea at Federated Church of Wauconda Dec. 1

Federated Church of Wauconda will hold its Christmas bazaar and tea from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

Our Christmas Bazaar includes “Grandma's Attic” featuring gently used Christmas decorations and treasures, our “Cookie Walk” ( homemade cookies sold by the pound), our “Glamorama Fashion Boutique” with used clothing, jewelry and other fashion accessories, our library (used books) and our Craft Area with quilts, cards, “Eggsotic” egg ornaments, hostess gifts, baked items and much more.

Our festive Christmas Tea (new this year) will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adults $5 and children and under 5 eat free. We will feature small sandwiches, pastries, Christmas cookies and a variety of teas and beverages.

For your holiday pleasure flutist Beth Cameron and violinist Fabian Ularu will be playing during the tea from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The following charities have benefitted from the fundraising efforts of Fellowship of Christian Women- Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry, PADS, UNICEF, Barrington Area Cropwalk, Kids Hope USA mentoring program and missions of Federated Church.
