Local Designer Discusses New Furniture Line with Creator

Local interior designer Joan Suzio, owner of Decorating Den Interiors of Libertyville, (www.decdens.com/jsuzio) met with designer, author and TV personality Libby Langdon at the High Point Furniture Market to discuss Langdon’s new line of upholstered furniture. The collection is made by Braxton Culler and available through Decorating Den Interiors.

“Libby's line can be described as easy, elegant and everyday style,” said Suzio. “Gorgeous fabrics, beautiful finishes, comfortable, down-blend cushions and quality construction are hallmarks of this affordably priced collection of sofas and chairs, ottomans, benches, dining chairs and headboards.”

The entire collection is produced with pride in Sophia, North Carolina by Braxton Culler, a fourth-generation family owned American furniture company.

Joan and 95 design colleagues from Decorating Den Interiors made up the largest group of buyers from a single company at October’s market at High Point, NC. DDI (www.decoratingden.com) is North America’s largest home furnishings and interior design franchise. The High Point Market encompasses more than 11.5 million square feet of showrooms in 180 buildings and draws an attendance of more than 75,000.

A veteran of makeover television, Langdon interviewed thousands of consumers in their personal living spaces, resulting in valuable insights into how homeowners really live and what they really want. This research informed the designs of her new Libby Langdon Collection for Braxton Culler.
