Do you like to laugh? Do you want your funny bone tickled? Then “Break A Leg” is the play to see.
Streamwood High School will be performing the comedy “Break A Leg” on Thursday, Nov. 1; Friday, Nov. 2; and Saturday, Nov. 3. All shows begin at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5 and can be ordered prior to performance dates or purchased at the door.
In the play “Break A Leg,” the traditional “good luck” saying used by performers takes on a new meaning. Mishaps abound with walls and doors falling at inopportune times, actors missing cues or just nowhere to be found, and an injured director having a variety of dream sequences of theatrical proportions.
Come see all the hilarious antics in this “fall” play directed by Hector Hernandez. The set design was orchestrated by Larry Winters, tech director; built with the assistance of master builders Joe Thomas and Pete Ryan; and creatively organized and decorated by Jessi Lim, assistant tech director and her team of student artisans.
