Home staging professional set the stage at Illinois Association of Realtors Fall Expo

An inviting living room space in the middle of an exhibition hall? That's exactly what members of the Greater Chicago International Association of Home Staging Professionals Regional Chapter created using furniture and accessories to stage

their booth at the Illinois Association of Realtors (IAR) Fall Conference & Expo in St. Charles, IL.

Nora Flaherty, the Events Chairwoman for the Greater Chicago IAHSP Chapter said, “It was our goal to show that even an exhibition booth can be inviting when color, placement and scale are used correctly to define a space. We use these same principles when creating and implementing successful staging plans for homes we prepare for market.”

Throughout the three day Conference & Expo, Accredited Staging Professionals (ASPs) from across the Chicagoland area welcomed Realtors® into their “living room” to discuss the critical role ASPs can play in growing their business. Stewart Ramirez, CDPE - Realtor with Re/Max Center in Grayslake, IL was one such visitor.

Stewart said, "There is no better sales tactic than a prospective buyer stepping into a clean, well planned space and the first word out of their mouth is 'WOW.' That is the reaction that Realtors across the globe strive to attain, and can only be accomplished with the design efforts of a staging professional."

To help Realtors locate ASPs in their area to accomplish this “WOW” factor, chapter members provided literature and internet resources, such as the ASP Directory found on StagedHomes.com.

The IAR event concluded with a drawing for a complimentary two day ASP Real Estate Agent course from Staged Homes.com won by Marilynn Audain-Liddell with Coldwell Banker in Flossmoor, IL.
