Dist. 54 estimates 1.97 percent rise in levy
The Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 school board has estimated its 2012 property tax levy at $158.8 million exclusive of debt service — 1.97 percent higher than the 2011 final extended levy of $155.7 million.
A public hearing will be held on the estimated levy at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 in the board room of the district office at 524 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg. For more information, please call Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Ric King at (847) 357-5011.
