Eating out: Fox Valley Mall welcomes Tony Sacco's

New Tony Sacco's

Take a break in a new family-friendly Italian restaurant located in Westfield Fox Valley Mall. Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza is now open, offering pies made from scratch and baked in a 1,000-degree coal oven. Cap off the visit with a signature coal-fired shortcake topped with house-made vanilla mousse, seasonal fruit and whipped cream. Located near the main entrance on the lower level by Macy's, the restaurant also features a full bar.

Talking turkey

Ward off the falling temperatures with warm comfort foods at Q-BBQ. Limited-time menu items include smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, chili and a side salad. The smoked turkey sandwich is topped with a cranberry mustard sauce and cornbread stuffing and served with one side and Q-pups for $8.99.

In honor of one year in business, the Burger Joint, located in River North, is offering $1 sliders, $1 mini-gyros and $1 fries through Monday. The fast-casual eatery offers burgers, salads, hand-cut fries, shakes and more. Burger Joint stays open until 5 a.m. on weekends.
