North Shore artist sets Highland Park studio grand opening

North Shore acclaimed artist Nina Weiss announces the opening of her new Highland Park studio space at 3150 Skokie Highway (Route 41) Suite 12. A grand opening is scheduled on Friday, Nov. 9 from 5 to 9 p.m.

The grand opening will feature special pricing and the opportunity to purchase the new art book "100 Artists of the Midwest" and "Art in Hand" playing cards, which feature Nina Weiss and her artwork.

Attendees will also have the opportunity for early enrollment for her always sold-out art classes.

Weiss has served as adjunct professor at the School if the Art Institute of Chicago for 15 years, and currently teaches at Columbia College Chicago, the Evanston Art Center, the NorthShore Art League, and the Chicago Botanic Gardens. She travels to Europe with students each summer for her European Landscape Workshops.

Her work has appeared at leading galleries and are included in several prominent corporate art collections.
