Barco Products donates bench profits fight breast cancer

BATAVIA — Commercial outdoor products company Barco Products has made a one-year commitment to support the National Breast Cancer foundation by donating all profits on the Barco Products Memorial Pink Inlay Bench product line to the charity.

The Memorial Pink Inlay Bench line comes in different styles, different sizes, and different ways to join the fight. They’re 100 percent made from recycled material and the benches — along with the special message on the bench — is guaranteed to last a virtual lifetime of 50 years.

Barco Products is pleased to make this contribution in order to help in the fight against breast cancer and to assist the National Breast Cancer foundation in educating women about breast cancer and the importance of early detection, the company said in a release.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded with a mission to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. The mission includes increasing awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need, and providing nurturing support services.  This charity was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail, who has made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
