Batavia United Way to host fundraiser

Batavia Unites Way will host its “Play It Again” event Saturday, Oct. 20, at Batavia’s historic Shannon Hall, 14 N. Van Buren St.
Beginning at 7 p.m., gala guests will be transported to 1940s Casablanca for an evening of casino gaming, live jazz, cocktails and more.
Two levels of tickets are now available for the fundraiser, $75 and $40. The $75 ticket price includes two drinks, $200 in gaming credit, appetizers and entertainment. The $40 ticket includes everything, but with $50 in gaming credit.
Gaming “winnings” can be used to purchase raffle prize tickets, which will also be available by direct purchase.
The letters of transit (tickets) are available online at playitagain.eventbrite.com. Donations also are accepted on the Eventbrite site. You may also purchase tickets in Batavia at Services Etc., 1921 W. Wilson St., Suite A; Special Occasions on the Avenue, 2 N. Batavia Ave.; and at the Batavia United Way office, 700 W.
