Forest Preserve District of Cook County Police Headquarters, North side of 31st St, West of Wolf Rd, Westchester

Will fall colors be affected by the mild early spring and the high temperatures and drought of the summer of 2012?

Yvonne's presentation will address these issues. She will also talk about how some trees have suffered from leaf scorch and dropped their leaves early this year. She will bring leaf specimens.

If weather conditions permit, a nature hike at Wolf Road Prairie will be included.

Wolf Road Prairie is owned by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. The Illinois Nature Preserves Commission oversees management and protection of the site.
