Police reports


A pair of men were charged with criminal damage to property for causing more than $300 worth of damage to a Toyota Camry on Wednesday, police said. David Jimenez, 19, of the 700 block of Houston Drive in Carpentersville and Andy Calkiewicz, 19, of the 1600 block of Cumberland Parkway in Algonquin, used baseball bats to vandalize the car's rear window and window frame and to the side of the car, police said. Bail was set for each Thursday morning at $25,000 and both men are scheduled to appear in court Oct. 25 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

Jorge Olague, 19, of the 1800 block of Cambridge Drive in Carpentersville, was charged with felony theft for stealing the latest iPhone from someone, police said. His bail was set Friday morning at $25,000 and he is due in court on Oct. 25.
