Do you remember periods in your life when movement was effortless and carefree? When physical activity whether for leisure or competition was done with ease and confidence? For many people that time has come and gone. Formerly mundane tasks such as walking, lifting light objects, playing with a child, or participating in athletic activities are fraught with aches, pain or a lack of energy to attempt. Though these physically limiting challenges may currently be keeping you on the sidelines, it's never too late to learn how to renew your health and get back into the game of moving easily and living pain free.

This fall, Chiro One Wellness Centers (COWC) is teaming together with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) to highlight methods you can use to overcome your limitations and feel your best every day, regardless of your age, occupation or fitness level, during National Chiropractic Health Month.

Doing its part to support the community, Chiro One is joining the effort with a fundraising promotion to benefit Special Olympics Illinois. This campaign, "Renew Your Health, Find Your Game" is the perfect time to overcome your own health challenges, while helping kids and adults with intellectual challenges achieve their full potential and find their game as well.

During the month of October, Chiro One is offering a $20 promotional wellness exam* ($395 Value) at all locations in Chicagoland with proceeds to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.

"When we're faced with life's challenges, it can severely limit us in doing the simple things we otherwise may take for granted," says COWC's Chief Marketing Officer, Brett Penager. "During the month of October we are committed to supporting Special Olympics Illinois and our community members in renewing their health so they can get back into the game of living life powerfully and pain free. Many of our patients come to us facing physical limitations that they've not been able to overcome through traditional medical therapies and oftentimes have no idea if we can help. They are then thrilled when we do it naturally without drugs or surgery."

"In addition, we're honored to support Special Olympics Illinois during National Chiropractic Health Month," says Penager. "Supporting an effort that gives kids and adults with intellectual challenges opportunities to continue developing physical fitness is the perfect partnership for Chiro One and embodies our Vision, "that every human being discovers their full potential." We invite community members to stop in during the month of October to support this worthy cause."

If you'd like to renew your health and find your game, your doctor of chiropractic can offer help by providing nutritional advice, exercise and lifestyle recommendations, and natural approaches to managing injuries, aches and pains.
