The Chamber Orchestra and the DuPage Community Concert Band will each present a concert in October.
The Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dan Pasquale D’Andrea, will perform at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, in the Jack H. Turner Conference Center, located in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the College of DuPage campus in Glen Ellyn. The orchestra is a student/community ensemble of strings, winds and harpsichord that explores music of Baroque and Classical periods. Admission is free.
The DuPage Community Band, under the direction of Terry Redford, will present the music of Alfred Reed at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, 149 W. Brush Hill Road. Tickets are $4.
