Spring Creek and Ridge roads in Barrington Hills were blocked this morning while fire crews battled a four-alarm blaze just north of the intersection.

Firefighters from Barrington and several other area departments battled a large structure fire Wednesday morning on Ridge Road in Barrington Hills. The four-alarm blaze was reported about 8:20 a.m. and fire crews from as far away as Hampshire may have been called in to assist or cover for other departments on the scene.
