Calvary Christian Academy will host a farmers market from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the school, 134 W. Monaville Road, Lake Villa. The market will run the same day as the annual pancake breakfast. The event includes 30 booths of homegrown fruits and vegetables, homemade bakery and desserts, handmade crafts and household items, as well as a lunch vendor or two. The market will take place on the school property in the west field. Parking will be available in the school/church parking lot. Tickets for the pancake breakfast will be available through Wednesday, Oct. 10. Tickets are $4 for kids 4 to 10 and seniors 55 and older, $5 for adults and $6 at the door.
