Palatine women’s group to hold ‘Obamacare’ forum
The League of Women’s Voters Palatine Area will host a nonpartisan information meeting, “Obamacare”, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Palatine police station community room, 595 N. Hicks Road. Dr. Ram Krishnamoorthi, the state’s representative of Doctors for America, a nonprofit group of physicians and medical students dedicated to advocating for health care reform, will discuss the Affordable Care Act, the myths, how it will affect families and future choices. The event is free and open to the public.
