Emerald City Theatre adaptation Lewis Carroll's classic story "Alice in Wonderland" comes to the stage for the whole family at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Cutting Hall Performance Center, 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine.
The show is part of Palatine Park District's Daze Off program that provides a family friendly event on a day off school in Community Consolidated School District 15 several times a year.
Practical Alice follows a peculiar rabbit down his hole and finds herself in a magical, fabulous world. Join her for a tea party with the Mad Hatter, a croquet match with the Red Queen, and a wild journey with the Cheshire Cat. Alice is going on the adventure of her life in this adaptation perfect for family audiences.
The show will be about 45-60 minutes long. Tickets are $6 per person, or $5 per person for groups of 20 or more. Box Office hours are 2-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and the box office is also open one hour before each performance start time.
