Hoffman Estates Cultural Awareness Commission is proud to celebrate the community’s diverse culture by sponsoring a Hispanic Heritage Fiesta from 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.
Enjoy an afternoon of the sights, sounds and tastes of Hispanic culture. Activities include Latin dance representing several countries, food and light refreshments, and, of course, the ever-popular pinata.
Featured guest speakers are Elba Aranda-Suh, executive director of the National Latino Education Institute and Nancy McDonald, information specialist with the Rita and John Canning Women’s Program at Harper College.
Bring the entire family to this fun-filled festival, and be prepared to get moving to the music.
