King Names New IT Manager

The Des Plaines Park District welcomes Sean King as their new Information Technology Manager as of September 24, 2012. He comes to Des Plaines from the Glenview Park District, where he worked for the past eleven years as an IT technician providing comprehensive network infrastructure, help desk, and workstation support. His responsibilities at the Des Plaines Park District will include the planning and implementing of software upgrades, support for all help desk queries, a review of current programs, and recommendations for best practices. “This is a good opportunity,” said King. “I am looking forward to continuing to help Des Plaines broaden their network technology.” “We are fortunate to have King join the Des Plaines Park District,” said Don Miletic, Superintendent of Business and Golf Operations. “His expertise will keep the District running smoothly and efficiently.”
