Book sale at Palatine library

The Fall Used Book Sale at the Palatine Public Library will be on Oct. 19-21. Sale hours are: 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, (Friends members free, nonmembers $5); 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 (free admission): and from 12:30-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21 (free admission). Sunday is bargain day. Prices are reduced.

Over 1,000 CDs are available for sale, as well as, a wide selection of books and related material. All proceeds benefit the Palatine Public Library (847-358-5881).

The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program at the library and has recently allocated funds for meeting room renovation. Membership forms to join the Friends of the Palatine Public Library are available at the Information Desk. Single or family membership is $10 per year.

Note: Book drop-off is 9:15 a.m.-noon, on the last Saturday of every mouth.

The Friends of the Palatine Library will hold a Holiday Sale Nov. 16-18 during library hours. Available will be gift quality books, CDs, DVDs and holiday items. All proceeds benefit the public library. Come early for the best selection.
