Wheeling’s girls volleyball team went 1-4 in the Stevenson tournament, notching its win over Grant 15-25, 27-25, 26-24.

Leading the Wildcats’ attack were Sydney Keith (19 kills), Jessie Zuba (17) and Amanda Mullin (12), who also collected 43 assists while teammate Deanna Kuzmanic had 38.

Caitlyn Slussar led the back row with 47 digs while Jessie Zuba had 28.

Illinois Math and Science Invite: Rolling Meadows (12-12, 0-4 in tourney) lost three of its four matches in 3 sets.

Rachel Mickey (22 kills, 7 blocks), Morgan Keller (21 kills, 4 blocks) and Lauren Sokolowski (20 kills, 3 blocks) led the Mustangs’ attack.

Sami Kay (45 assists) and Megan King (9) handled the setting duties while Grace Skorin served 3 aces.

Lake Forest Invite: Hoffman Estates went 2-3 with wins over Lane Tech and Regina.

On the day, the Hawks (6-19) were led on attack by Becca Stoczynski (40 kills), Sarah Willie (20), Clare Shaffer (13) and Renee Clemment (10).

Shaffer also led with 11 blocks while Stoczynski and Miranda Lewis each had 4.
