The woman was asleep in the early morning of Aug. 19, when, prosecutors allege, she awoke to discover Felix-Sanchez assaulting her.

The woman recognized the man's voice and alerted authorities, said Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Jennifer Walsh.

If convicted, Felix-Sanchez could face four to 15 years in prison. He next appears in court on Oct. 30.
