Girls volleyball/Fox Valley roundup
Brigitte Keslinke had 6 kills, 13 digs and 7 aces and Claire Flugel added 6 kills, 12 digs and 2 aces as Elgin Academy’s girls volleyball team downed Mooseheart 25-20, 25-20 Wednesday in nonconference action.
Trennedy Kleczewski added 12 assists, 6 digs and 2 kills for the Hilltoppers (7-9).
St. Francis d. St. Edward: The Green Wave fought against Suburban Christian power St. Francis before dropping a 25-16, 28-26 decision. Katie Swanson (7 kills, 3 blocks, 4 digs), Rena Ranallo (5 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs), Mallory Gross (15 assists, 2 kills), Cory Kelly (3 kills, 3 blocks) and Shannon Igielski (3 kills, 2 blocks) led St. Edward (8-12, 3-2).
