Wheeling District 21 to discuss bullying

Dorothy Espelage, professor of child development at the University of Illinois, will speak on the harmful effects of bullying and what can be done to disrupt such interactions at Wheeling Elementary District 21’s annual State of the Schools meetings.

Parents and community members are invited to attend any of the three meetings — one at each of the district’s middle schools.

The meetings are at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at London Middle School, 1001 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling; 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Holmes Middle School, 221 S. Wolf Road, Wheeling; and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Cooper Middle School, 1050 Plum Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.
