ECC seeks nominations for alumni award

The Elgin Community College Alumni Association is accepting nominations for its 2013 Distinguished Alumnus Award. The award is given annually during the Founders' Day Brunch, which will be on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.

The Distinguished Alumnus Award recognizes the accomplishments of notable ECC alumni who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their chosen profession and made a positive impact on their community.

Past recipients include world-renowned photographer Sandro Miller, Maryland State Delegate Michael Smigiel, and Elgin City Council member Robert Gilliam.

Nominations are accepted online at elgin.edu/eccalumni through midnight Friday, Sept. 28.
