“Sunday Evening at the Movies”

Join The Illinois Brass Band at Cutting Hall on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 7:30 PM for an evening of music from the movies. Relive great movie moments while enjoying some of the most popular movie soundtracks and themes from the 30's through today. Enjoy selections from West Side Story, The Music Man, My Fair Lady, Batman, and The Wizard of Oz. Works by contemporary composer John Williams will include the Fanfare and Flying Theme from ET and the theme music from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Music from The Incredibles and Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians will be featured for the younger family members. Selections from many other movies will also be featured. You are guaranteed to leave whistling a happy tune all the way home.

The Illinois Brass band is a six time national champion of the North American Brass Band Association.

The band is in its 21st year.

Tickets are available through the Cutting Hall box office in advance or on the day of the performance.

Adults: $12.00

Students and Children 18 and under: $6.00
