Topical issues addressed in Oakton Emeritus Program

Join local experts for an analysis of international events and issues during Passport to the World, a series of foreign relations lectures offered by the Emeritus Program at Oakton in two eight-week sessions 1-2:30 p.m. Thursdays, starting Oct. 4, and 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Fridays, starting October 5. The series begins with Two People: One Future, which examines whether there could be a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Other lectures include: Vietnam: The Lessons; China’s New Leadership; Where Will We Go from Here? Foreign Policy after the Presidential Election; and How Socialist is “Socialist Europe?” Lectures meet at the Skokie campus, 7701 N.
