Waukegan man arrested on drug charges
A Waukegan man was arrested on drug charges after authorities executed a search warrant at his house Thursday, police said Friday.
Brian P. Kerns, 31, of the 2400 block of Linden Avenue, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver — both felonies.
Waukegan police say they found 404 grams of cannabis, $2,468 in cash and a 4-by-8-foot structure used to grow cannabis indoors in Kerns’ basement.
Kerns has a previous conviction for drug possession, police said.
