If yes, please explain: No.Candidate's Key Issues Key Issue 1 Property Taxes. The current Will County Executive (CEO) proposes a property tax increase every year. Property taxes remain too high, and Will County does not need an increase. Will County has a leadership problem, not a revenue problem.Key Issue 2 Reduce Spending - Refocus Spending In eight years, the current County Executive has not proposed one economic development initiative or requested funding to invest in an expansion economic development programs. Overall spending must be reduced in Will County while redirecting some current spending from underutilized departments toward a targeted effort to build business and infrastructure opportunities in Will County.Key Issue 3 Restoring Faith in Local Government Too many Will County politicians use their office to help friends and family, including County Executive Walsh who recently ensured his son, Larry Walsh Jr., was appointed to the IL House of Representatives. Under Mr. Walsh, jobs within Will County government are available only to those with ties to him or his party. This was the program that improved our roads over the last few years. 2. Year after year, I have opposed County Executive Larry Walsh's property tax increases, and working with a team on the County Board, have stopped many of them.How can the county best manage its growth, growing diversity?By supporting the fundamental principals that allow for a growing and prosperous local economy, such as: 1. Reducing government fees and intrusion into the private sector. 2. Investing in roads and infrastructure. 3. Lowering property taxes. 4.
