Patricia Babcock McGraw talked to mothers and daughters to chronicle the difference that Title IX has made in one generation of women. "Women just ahead of me didn't have the opportunities I had and for that I'm so grateful because sports did everything for me," Margaret Stender said. "I was so shy in high school and as I got confident on the field and on the court, it shaped my whole leadership style."
