The Libertyville-Mundelein Historical Society begins another season of programming at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 with "Normandy Revisited" featuring local World War II veteran Don Carter. He fought in Europe with the Army's 44th Field Artillery Battalion, 4th Infantry Division. He will share his recollections about the war and impressions of his visit to Normandy years later. The free public meeting in the downstairs meeting room at Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Visit www.lmhistory.org. Upcoming meetings are Oct. 15 and Nov. 19.
