• Two tires were slashed on a car between 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, and 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, in the 1800 block of South Tyler Road, police said.

• A lock was shot off the northwest gate to the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, between 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, and 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, police said.

• Graffiti was sprayed on a sidewalk in the 1000 block of Ford Street between 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, and 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, police said.

Kane County

• A Sony Vaio laptop was stolen between 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, and 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, from an unlocked 2010 Jeep Liberty in the 43W900 block of Nottingham Drive near Elburn, according to a sheriff's report.

• A bike, valued at $100, was stolen between 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, and 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, from the 39W900 block of Red Gate Road near St. Charles, according to a sheriff's report.
