Meet author Jesse Kellerman in Arlington Heights

The Arlington Heights Memorial Library is partnering with the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre to present a series of literary arts programs beginning with an evening with novelist/playwright Jesse Kellerman, the author of five novels: “The Executor,” “The Genius,” “Trouble,” “Sunstroke” and his latest, “Potboiler.”

In “Potboiler,” middle-aged college professor Arthur Pfefferkorn re-connects with the widow of his oldest friend, best-selling thriller writer William de Vallée who is lost at sea. Pfefferkorn is torn between envy and grief, for de Vallée not only outshone him professionally, but married the woman he loved. His decision plunges him into a shadowy realm of double crosses and intrigue.

Join the library at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre where Kellerman will talk about his latest psychological thriller and about his writing. A book signing and sale will follow his presentation. Register at ahml.info.
