About this Article

Matthew Herran of Aurora is a paranormal investigator, hunting for EVPs, or electronic voice phenomena. Or you could just call him a ghost hunter. But despite the uneasiness of family members who think he's opening himself up to demonic spirits, Herran says his passion for information about the afterlife is just his personal quest for answers. "I honestly don't know what happens to someone after they have passed," says Herran, "I would like to find proof that there is life after death."
