Route 21/137 lanes shifted, reduced:

Weather permitting, traffic heading north and south on Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) from Rollingwoods Drive to about 1,000 feet north of Route 137 in Libertyville on Friday will be pushed to the east side of the existing pavement to create a work zone to build new southbound lanes. Beginning Monday, Sept. 10, traffic on Route 21 from Route 137 to about 500 feet south of Fire Station Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Left-turn lanes will be provided for each leg of the intersection, but traffic on Route 137 also will be reduced to one lane in each direction and will be pushed to the north side of the existing pavement to allow for construction of new eastbound lanes.
