Carol Stream police looking for home invaders

No one was injured in a late Tuesday night home invasion in Carol Stream, police said Wednesday.

Three men wearing ski masks entered the home in the 800 block of Seneca Lane at about 8:50 p.m., Carol Stream Deputy Police Chief Ed Sailor said.

He said one of the three men displayed a weapon during the home invasion, and the three demanded unspecified “property” from the homeowners. They fled after obtaining what they were looking for.

“There really isn’t much I can say about it right now because it’s under investigation,” Sailor said. “They came in, demanded property, then left without injuring anyone.”

He added police believe the house was specifically targeted by the home invaders.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Carol Stream Police Department at (630) 668-2167.
