If you disagree, write your own letter
Mr. Reynolds’ letter of Aug. 21 complains that letters to the Fence Post have dubious references. I think Mr. Reynolds misses the point.
The Fence Post is a place where you can vent your thoughts and need not document every idea, much like in life. The Herald could not ask for back-up with every letter, there is simply not enough room.
If you disagree with a letter write one of your own, (works for me) or buy yourself a half page and vent.
