Rain forces cancellation of Naperville bed races

A steady drizzle forced the cancellation Saturday of Naperville's annual bed races, one of the more quirky events held during the city's annual Last Fling celebration.

The weather also forced organizers to cancel the dunk tank Saturday. However, executive committee member Courtney Brown reported the music performances will go on as scheduled.

Additionally, the Disney meet and greet with Debby Ryan will go on as scheduled Sunday in Family Fun Land located in the Naper Settlement. Organizers report the event will be held outside, rain or shine, although lightning could force its cancellation.
