Trina Metz has been named the new assistant principal at Woodland Middle School in Gurnee. Already familiar with the middle school, Metz has been a member of the faculty there for 10 years and has served in the capacity of science teacher, team leader and curriculum coordinator for the science department, as well as behavior intervention specialist. "I could not be more confident that Trina Metz's teaching and leadership experiences combined with her familiarity with our staff and students will ensure a smooth transition this fall as well as many successful years in the future," said middle school Principal Scott Snyder.
