Rolling Meadows molester sent to prison

A Rolling Meadows man pleaded guilty to molesting an 11-year-old girl and was sentenced to one year in prison.
A Cook County judge also ordered 31-year-old Alberto Osorio-Balbuena to register as a sex offender for 10 years and to pay $1,539 in fines in exchange for his guilty plea to criminal sexual abuse, a felony punishable by one to three years in prison, or probation.
Osorio-Balbuena was held in Cook County jail on $75,000 bail. He received credit for the 116 days he has spent in custody since his arrest.
