Des Plaines District 62 seeks intergenerational tutors

Des Plaines Elementary District 62 is seeking volunteers, 50 or older, to spend one hour a week working one-on-one with students who are struggling to learn to read. The tutor and child read, talk, write stories, and play games together. Volunteers are needed at Central, Cumberland, Forest, South, Iroquois Community, North, Orchard Place, and Plainfield schools.
