Long Grove international fest Labor Day weekend in historic district

The Olympic Games in London captured the world's attention and the village of Long Grove celebrates America's melting pot with a special weekend dedicated to all the countries that make this town a special place to visit.

Visitors are invited to stroll the streets during the Long Grove World Tour over Labor Day weekend and explore the its shops. They can dine on international foods and enjoy live ethnic bands all weekend.

There will be a whirlwind of ethnic dance and music, from exotic belly dancers to rhythms of the Lakota Indians, Polish, Irish and Scandinavian bands.

Children will enjoy the various cultural experiences, as well as a face painter and street entertainers.
