What is your favorite ingredient and how do you like to use it? I love mushrooms. I like to use them in many ways. Portobellos for a main course, sauteed button mushrooms on steaks, baby bellas mixed with asparagus for a great side dish.
Describe your style or approach to cooking. I like to try ideas and combinations of food. My favorite meal to make is when I come home and my wife has bought three or four ingredients and says "what can you make us with ..."
Why do you want to be part of the Cook of the Week Challenge? I would love to put the skills I've built up by reading and experimenting in my own kitchen to the test. I'd love to see how I stack up to other home cooks.
