Cook of the Week: February 2007
What is your favorite ingredient and how do you like to use it? The “holy trinity:” celery, bell pepper and onion. I use it as a base in almost every entree as well as soups, sauces, stews, jambalayas, gumbos and stuffing.
Describe your style or approach to cooking. Home cooking with a flair. I love to use seasonal ingredients and prefer to waste nothing.
Why do you want to be part of the Cook of the Week Challenge? I love creating great food with random ingredients.
