What is your favorite ingredient and how do you like to use it? like to use fresh and ripe produce. There are so many ways to incorporate produce into today's healthy meals. Also a big fan of fresh herbs from the garden; bottled herbs just do not have the real taste that fresh does. ... I have learned that fresh produce can add flavor and texture without all the preservatives that you have in canned or bottled products.
Describe your style or approach to cooking. I prefer to use simple fresh ingredients to re-create classic meals.
Why do you want to be part of the Cook of the Week Challenge? I enjoy cooking and I love cooking competitions. I cook in the competitive barbecue circuit and enjoy the time limits.
