1 dead after shooting in Galesburg

GALESBURG — Police in Galesburg are investigating a shooting that killed a 38-year-old man in the western Illinois community.

WGIL Radio reports that police say Terrell Allen was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Monday.

Officers aren’t releasing many details about the killing. Authorities say an investigation continues by Galesburg Police and an Illinois State Police crime scene investigator.

There’s no word yet on any suspects.
